The Customers section allows the management of customer job information in CrewTracks.
Click on the ADD NEW CUSTOMER button in the top-right of the screen.
A popup will appear for the customer’s information. Fill out the relevant information, then click SAVE CUSTOMER in the bottom right of the popup.
Customer Code – The unique code to identify the customer.
Customer Name – The name of the customer.
Physical Address – The physical address of the customer. This could be the location where all their jobs take place, their headquarters, etc.
Billing Address – The billing address for the customer.
Use physical address as the default address for new jobs for this customer – This checkbox will copy the physical address onto each job that is created for the customer.
Use physical address as billing address – This checkbox will use the physical address for the billing address.
Description – A description of the customer.
After clicking the save button, the screen will return to the Customers page, where the new customer should appear with an acknowledgement the customer was saved at the bottom of the screen.
This section provides the base details that were entered in during the initial customer creation process. The CrewTracks ID is the unique identifier in the CrewTracks system for this customer, which is automatically assigned by CrewTracks.
This section shows any jobs that have been directly associated with this customer. Customers can be associated with a job through the Jobs section in CrewTracks. Clicking on VIEW on any of the listed jobs will load that job’s information page.
This section will show any notes or photos that were added to schedules associated with the jobs that are associated with this customer. Clicking VIEW SCHEDULE will open that schedule’s Daily Report for viewing.
This section will show any schedules associated with this customer. Clicking VIEW will open that schedule’s Daily Report for viewing. Clicking WORK DESCRIPTION will show the data that was entered into that schedule’s Work Description field.
Click on the EDIT button on the line of the customer that needs to be edited.
Edit the customer information as needed, then click the SAVE CUSTOMER button in the bottom right of the popup.
Click anywhere on the customer line or click VIEW on the right side of the customer line to get to the individual customer’s information screen.
Click the EDIT button on the right side of the screen.

Customers cannot be deleted from CrewTracks, but they can be inactivated to remove them from the active customer list.
Click the checkbox next to the customer(s) that are needing to be inactivated, then click the INACTIVATE text above the list.
A prompt will appear. Click INACTIVATE XX CUSTOMER(S) to inactivate the selected customer(s), or click CANCEL to go back to the Customers screen.
The customer will no longer appear under the Active section of the Customers list.
Click anywhere on the customer line or click VIEW on the right side of the customer line to get to the individual customer’s information screen.
Click the EDIT button on the right side of the screen.
Uncheck the box next to Active, then click SAVE CUSTOMER to inactivate them.
The customer will no longer appear under the Active section of the Customers list.
Click on the Inactive radio button at the top of the Customers page. This will display all inactive customers in the organization that are available for activation.
Click the checkbox next to the customer(s) that are needing activation, then click the ACTIVATE text above the customer list.
A prompt will appear. Click ACTIVATE XX CUSTOMER(S) to activate the selected customer(s), or click CANCEL to go back to the Customers screen.
The customer will now appear under the Active section of the Customers list.
Click anywhere on the customer line or click VIEW on the right side of the customer line to get to the individual customer’s information screen.
Click the EDIT button on the right side of the screen.
Check the box next to Active, then click SAVE CUSTOMER to activate them.
The customer will now appear under the Active section of the Customer list.
