The Sync Button is a button in the top right corner of the CrewTracks app that shows the status of the device’s connectivity to the CrewTracks servers. The button will visibly change depending on its current state.
A green icon with an X through it indicates that the device’s mobile data connectivity is turned off. Please check the device to ensure it either has connection via mobile data or via Wi-Fi.
An orange icon indicates that the device could not connect to the CrewTracks servers, even though the device does have mobile data or Wi-Fi turned on. This can appear temporarily if the device leaves a mobile service area.
Tapping on the Sync Button will open a Sync Status screen, which gives information about any changes that are needing to be sent to the server (clock in/out data, production data, etc.), or any connectivity issues that the device may currently be having.
